About Janaki

Greetings! I’m Janaki Tremaglio (she/her). I’m based in Seattle, Washington and have an office in the Fremont neighborhood. I offer in-person and virtual sessions for Spiritual Coaching, Mantra Workshops, and Spiritually-Inspired Psychotherapy.

My background for Spiritual Coaching:

  • Master of Eastern Classical Literature from St. John’s College; focused on the Sanskrit language, Hindu, Buddhist, and Taoist texts (2005)

  • A process of awakening and spiritual study that began at age 19 when I found my guru, Sri Neem Karoli Baba

  • Eight trips to India to be with the revered saint Sri Siddhi Ma, for a total of about 1-1/2 years in India, primarily at the ashrams of Sri Neem Karoli Baba (2006-2016)

  • Nine years living in Santa Fe, New Mexico, with monthly pilgrimage to the Sri Neem Karoli Baba Ashram & Hanuman Temple in Taos (2004–2013)

  • Intensive bhakti practice cultivated over twenty years, including the Hanuman Chalisa, Ram Nam, kirtan, recitation of the Sundarkand and Ramcharitmanas by Tulsi Das, and Kainchi temple prayers

  • Exploration of a multitude of other spiritual traditions including Native American & Australian Aboriginal spirituality, Sufism, Buddhism, and Quaker Christianity

  • Reiki Level I, II, and III Master Trainings (2012, 2018)

  • Healing of my own severe chronic pelvic illness and pain using Medical Medium protocols since 2018; a process of profound cleansing and transformation

  • The tapasya (discipline and inner fire) of mothering twins born in July 2022; a deeply humbling practice and a source of endless blessings

  • Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in the state of Washington, LW.60933756

  • Certificate in Infant Mental Health from University of Washington Barnard Center (2016); endorsed as an Infant Mental Health Specialist (Level III) by WA-AIMH

  • Social work practice spanning more than twenty years in homeless programs, early childhood development and infant mental health, community mental health, and private practice
